Monday I took the kids to Normal to meet Brooke, Lainie, Aubrey, Emaw Phyllis and Aunt Nancy at the Childrens Discovery Museum. I have been wanting to take Ashlyn for a while now but hadn't found the time. I was off work and Brooke is on maternity leave so it worked out great! The girls had a BLAST!! I just can't believe how fast they are growing up-they are so cute together.
I think Ashlyn needs to go farming sometime-she loved the tractor and combine!!

After the museum we took the girls to McDonald's for lunch and let me tell you it was an adventure! Everyone in the restaurant had to stop at our table to say HI to the girls and the girls were hilarious. Between Ashlyn asking the old ladies if they were drinking coffee and then both girls yelling bye 100 times it was just a riot. We felt bad for the guy sitting next to us trying to have a nice peaceful lunch and read his book. When he got up to leave we apologized AGAIN for interrupting his peaceful lunch he was trying to have and he just laughed and said he wishes his son would give him another granddaughter! So sweet! These are the moments and memories that I cherish sooo much:)
I can't believe another month has passed and my little man is already 3 months!! He is such a content, snugly, happy little guy. Ryan makes fun of his pathetic whimper b/c he never really cries. Over the past couple of weeks he has really found his voice-he LOVES to talk to his Zebra on his bouncy seat and the teddy bears on the mobile of his bassinet. Ryan and I just crack up watching him gab and screech at them-its adorable. Brody started Daycare on Jan. 3rd and so far things have been going great. He usually goes to bed between 8:30-9 and I have to wake him up to eat and get ready around 7:30. This little guy is a sleeper, his teachers can't get over how much he sleeps, Friday they ended up waking him up after he had been asleep for 4 hours!! I'm paying them good money to watch my baby sleep:) HA!! Last week we took him to the Dr. because he just couldn't get rid of this nasty cough-Ryan has terrible allergies and asthma and I have a feeling Brody might too. Dr. gave him a breathing treatment in the office and it really helped so we now have a nebulizer and have to give little man treatments when he is wheezy. He weighed 13.5lbs and he is 24.5 inches-just packed up all his 0/3 and 3 month clothes and he is mostly wearing 6 month clothes and a few 3/6 month pants.

So like I said the kids stayed at my parents house while we went to the game and Ashlyn lost a fight with the dining room table:( My parents aren't really sure what happened- her and Kane were chasing each other around and next thing you know they hear this LOUD thump and Ashlyn is SCREAMING. By the time we got back from the game all 3 kids were sound asleep but the next morning it looked like this. Today its even worse and of course the minute we walk into daycare her teachers start laughing and asking me what the heck I did to her:) Oh and don't you love her hair all rolled up in snakes! I bought these the other day to roll her hair to make it all curly and she instantly said they were snakes!! She is so funny!
Last night I took Ashlyn to the Civic Center to see Sesame St. Live. I asked her one day last week if she would like to go and see Elmo and of course her response was a very EXCITED YES and then went on to ask if she could see Grouch, Cookie Monster, and Zoe too. I was a little nervous that she might not have the attention span to sit thru the entire thing but I really wanted to take her and do something fun just the 2 of us. I had never been to a show in the theater room at the civic center and didn't know how COOL the box seats were. THEY ARE AWESOME SEATS and the best part there were 8 seats per box and Ashlyn and I had the entire box to ourselves. When the characters came out she was clapping and dancing and I could tell she was so excited. I have to say the best part of the evening for me was Ashlyn giving me hugs and kisses and telling me, "mommy this is so fun." Melted my heart!! Ashlyn would probably say the best part was having pop and M & M's:) She was a perfect angel and I'm so glad that we went. I think daddy was a little jealous b/c he said he gets to pick the next show to take her too.

Saturday we had Welborn Family Christmas-we didn't think Jason, Brooke, Lainie, and Aubrey would be there considering Brooke got released from the hospital that morning but Brooke was feeling great and LOOKS AWESOME so they came for a couple hours. Of course we were all soooo excited b/c we got to spoil her. She is just to precious and such a little peanut-made me sad that my little guy is growing up way to fast.
The girls were downstairs with Paw Paw having a dance party but I didn't get any pics it was so cute!! The girls LOVE their Emaw.
No more monkey's jumping on the bed-Ashlyn loves to jump on the bed and sing "No more Monkey's jumping on the bed."
