One Month Old

Ashlyn is now a month old and WOW she sure has changed. She has started to smile, or at least that is what I think she is doing when I'm talking all crazy to her and making my funny faces. I don't have a baby scale at home but I weighed her with me and she is about 9.5 lbs which doesn't surprise me the way she eats. Ryan and I can't believe how lucky we are and what a good baby she is. Two nights this week she slept from 9-5, which I still find hard to believe!

1st trip to Fairbury

Ashlyn got to go visit her Great Grandma and Grandpa Righter, what a cute picture!

Had to post a picture with her great aunt Lori-she was feeling left out. I have noticed a pattern, mommy is never in any pictures!

Ashlyn got to hang-out with her cousins at Grandma and Grandpa Welborns house. Here is a picture with Madilyn. Madilyn is 5 weeks older than Ashlyn, she is such a happy little baby! Brooke, who is holding Madilyn is due Oct. 4th. . .we can't wait to meet he or she. There will be little ones running around everywhere this Christmas.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband and daddy! Ashlyn is getting all rested up for her busy day we have planned. Ryan is off work today so we can all hang-out for his birthday. We have a busy day planned up in Fairbury and it will be the 1st time mommy and daddy leave her for a few hours. Grandma Phyllis is going to babysit while we go golfing.

4 Weeks Old

Well today Ashlyn is 4 weeks and last night she slept all night for us. She was in bed by 9
and didn't wake up until 5:30. It might have been all the shopping she did yesterday with Megan and Samantha but she slept through most of it. I have also concluded she has the Welborn gene when it comes to eating. . .at night I have been giving her a bottle before bed and she is gulping down 4 ozs no problem!!

Well football season is almost here! Ashlyn is all ready, Ryan just bought her a few outfits for this years season:) She doesn't look all that excited!

3 Weeks Old!!

Ashlyn loves to put her hands up or her face or back like she is doing the backstroke when she sleeps, I think its just the cutest thing!! Look how long and skinny I am.

Ashlyn is 3 weeks today and gosh she has changed so much. She has her awake time in the mornings from 8-11 and she is so alert and content. So this morning we got out some toys and had a little play time.

2 Week Check-Up

Ashlyn had her 2 week check-up today and she is growing like a weed!
She was 7lbs 9ozs and 20 inches when she was born and only 7lbs 2 ozs when she came home.
Today she weighed 8lbs and measured 21 inches. I guess all that sleeping and eating is making her grow like a little weed:) Dr. Hunter said she is absolutely perfect!!

Ashlyn was a week old Tuesday and so far she has been such a good baby. Ryan went back to work Wednesday so today was our 2nd day home alone and I so far everything has been great. She usually has her awake time between 9-11AM so I try and get her bath in and some play time before her long stretch of naps begin. At night she has been sleeping between 4 and 5 hrs between feedings, of course I'm not sleeping the whole time b/c I checking to make sure she is OK! Last night she fell asleep at 9 and I put her in crib and she slept until 2 and went back to sleep at 2:30 and didn't get up until after 6. I just pray it continues.
