1st time Swimming!!

On Sunday our neighbor girls invited Ashlyn to come over and swim for the 1st time in their pool. As you can see in the pictures our little fishy was having a blast. I can't wait for tadpole swimming lessons to start in July.

10 Month Update & Weekend of Fun!

Ashlyn's cousin Lainie came to visit Saturday!! We had so much fun, hard to believe our girls are 8 months and 10 months now. They had so much fun playing together. We really tried to get some cute pictures of the girls hugging, kissing and playing but everytime we got the camera out they would stop, or turn away. I guess they are sick of the cameras, can't say I blame them:)

After a long day of playing outside it was time for the girls to have their 1st bath together. Little cutie pies:)

Ashlyn 10 months, Lainie 8 months, Sydney 3 months, Kane 2 months and Elijah 1 month!!!! WOW that is a lot of babies, oh and impossible to get a good picture, we tried:)
Saturday evening I had a girls night!! WOW how things have changed, instead of drinking wine and gossiping we are chasing kids, changing poopy diapers and exchanging baby stories. We still have a hard time believing there are 5 little ones running around (well not quite running around), now we can only hope they all grow up to be close friends like their mommies!

Ashlyn 10 Month Update:

21.4 lbs and just shy of 29 inches, my gosh she has grown a lot in 1 month! She is quickly outgrowing her 12 month clothes! She also has two more teeth on the top and 4 more getting ready to pop through.

This girl is on the move, not walking yet which I'm ok with but crawling very quickly all over the place and pulling herself up to everything. She has also learned how to open drawers, open cabinets and completely destroy the house in a matter of minutes. She is not scared of anything, she beats and bangs LOUDLY on everything and oh yes she now has a temper. When we are eating something she has to be eating as well or she throws a fit. She still loves to cuddle and only goes down for a nap or bed if we snuggle her until she is fast asleep, which her mommy and daddy LOVE!!

Congrats Mike & Jenna

Mike Winegar & Jenna McKeon got married on Saturday. . .what a great wedding they had! The reception was baseball themed and boy did we have fun! Aren't they the cutest couple:)

It was so nice to have a fun evening out with my handsome hubby!!

Mommy's Birthday

Ashlyn and Daddy got me a bday cake and I had to give Ashlyn a little piece of cake, no icing yet but she loved it. She has a sweet tooth just like her mommy. Won't be long and we will be celebrating Ashlyn's 1st birthday, gosh how is that possible.

My wonderful girlfriends sent me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to work Thursday for my birthday!! I have the most thoughtful group of girlfriends, love you guys.

Future Swimsuit Model

Last night after Ashlyn's bath I thought we better get her swimming suit out and see if it still fits. My child has been going through a growth spurt the past week and eating NON STOP!! I weighed her and in 2 weeks she has put on over a pd and now weighs 21.2 pds, so needless to say the suit still fits but I don't think for much longer. Look at her rolls, as uncle Matt would call her my little Michelin Girl.

First Swing

Thanks to our wonderful neighbors for letting us buy a swing to put on their swing set! Ashlyn LOVES it. I'm sure eventually we will have our own swingset for her but for now she gets to use theirs!! Thanks Emily and Katie, your the best!

My 1st Mother's Day

Kane loves to sleep with his mouth wide open, what a sweetie pie! I couldn't believe how much had grown since the last time I saw him, which was just a couple weeks ago. Ashlyn thought it was pretty fun to stick her fingers in Kane's mouth! She is so curious around him now, won't be long before they are chasing each other around the house.

I had such a wonderful mother's day weekend. Saturday Rachel and I went to Essentials and had facials, while Gram and Gramps watched the kiddo's then everyone came to my parents house for an awesome dinner! Then Sunday the 3 of us went to Peoria so I could get the rest of my flowers. I'm slowly getting everything planted, much harder now with a little one running around, she will only sit in the stroller for so long. Ashlyn got mommy a painting, after I get it hung I will post a picture of it. Daddy said she actually picked it out at Hobby Lobby, wish I would have had a picture of the 2 of them shopping!!

New Videos

In the mornings Ashlyn loves to look out our bedroom window and yell at Zelma, Dah Dah Dah, is what she calls her. So cute, of course when I try and get her to say it she doesn't and wouldn't you know as soon as I shut the camera off she said it like 3 times.

Congratulations Kurt & Courtney, he is so precious! Elijah was born Friday May 1st at 5:04 PM weighing 7.4lbs and 20 inches long. He looks a lot like his daddy and the longest fingers and toes I have ever seen. We are going to have so much fun in the years to come with all the new little ones running around. Our friends Trent & Audrey welcomed a little girl on Thursday-Violet Isabelle, lots of babies being born everywhere, so exciting!
