Splish, Splash I was taken a bath!

I know you are all probably tired of me posting pictures and videos of Ashlyn at bathtime but I can't help it!! This past week Ashlyn has really discovered how fun it is to SPLASH. I think by the time bath time is over there is more water outside the tub than in. I'm amazed that she can make that big of a mess with such a small amount of water! I can't wait to take her swimming this summer, she is going to be a FISH!

Mommy & Daddy don't leave!!

Ryan and I are leaving in the morning for our 1st trip w/o Ashlyn. We are taking a cruise for our 5 yr Anniversary. Actually our Anniversary isn't until April but this was the best time for us to go. We are going with my parents and my aunt and uncle. Hopefully it will be warmer in the Bahamas & Keys than it is here:)
It's definitely bittersweet, I can't hardly bare the thought of leaving her makes me want to cry just thinking about it but we are both ready for time away from work and know that it is good for our marriage to spend time just the 2 of us. Grandma Jane and Aunt Annie are coming to our house to stay with her and Zelma for the week. We both know she will be VERY WELL taken care-I'm sure she will be more spoiled than she already is by the time we get back.
I thought this picture was GREAT!! I was in the closet and Ashlyn decided she would start unpacking our bags. . .I think she was trying to tell us something! Oh I could just eat her up she is so much fun these days. Hard to believe my little peanut is 7 months old. I have a feeling she might start crawling while we are gone. . .she is so close.

Matt & Rachel's Baby Showers

Over the weekend we hosted a couple's shower at my parent's house. We had such a great time! I think they should have everything now. . .just waiting on the little guy to arrive. Rachel has to be one of the cutest pregnant women. . .just looks like she is carrying around a Basketball.

My Little Fish

Ashlyn has always loved her bathtime! Its so fun to watch the excitement when I bring her in the bathroom and start running the water. Now that she can sit up by herself and be on her tummy she cries when I pull her out. . .so funny. I just love to sit and watch her, everyday she surprises me with something new she has discovered she can do.

Happy Belated Valentines Day!

So I'm just a little behind on my blogging! I hope everyone had a GREAT VALENTINE'S DAY. Our day was wonderful. Ashlyn got some really great gifts, Daddy got her very 1st piece of jewelry. Got to start them early right:) He bought both of us rings, Ashlyn got a baby ring with her initials engraved in the heart and I got an emerald and diamond. Isn't he the sweetest! Ashlyn and I got Daddy an ITouch-which I had no idea how cool they are, now I want one!
Saturday night my Aunt Lori, Uncle Randy, Cousin Tess her hubby Dustin and RJ all came to our house for Lobster and Steak Dinner. We had a great time and the dinner was OUTSTANDING.

The Birds and the Bees

Well I think Daddy might have to have his first talk about the birds and the bees with his daughter! My babysitter sent me this picture today, her little boy just loves to give Ashlyn kisses. . .like I said its cute for now:)

Love my new Shades!

Ryan and I hosted a Super Bowl Party at our house yesterday. We had such a fun time with all our family and friends. Ashlyn got her 1st Valentine Day present-Grandma & Grandpa Aupperle bought her a swimsuit, shades, and a cute little bear!! Look at her shades, aren't they adorable. She loved them!! I love the last picture, Ryan thinks he might be in trouble. . .another shopper in the family:) Thanks Grandma & Grandpa-hopefully I get to use my new suit and shades at your new pool this summer!!
