I thought I would make a quick post on stats for Miss Ashlyn-I completely forgot to post her 1 yr stats-22.5 lbs and 30 inches. Not sure the percentile b/c the nurse was new and forgot to write them down at the appt. We actually had to make a trip back to the Dr. this past Monday b/c Ashlyn was fighting a stomach virus and had mommy pretty worried. She started getting sick last Thursday night (right as we got ready to head out for the Chiefs Game, I was hosting 20 people in the Busey Suite) so Ryan opted to stay home with her. The next morning she seemed fine and the sitter said to bring her b/c she didn't have any other kids that day. She did fine all day but then Friday night and Saturday morning she was sick again. Saturday we ended up taking her to my cousins wedding but not staying to late b/c she was pretty fussy and tired. Sunday night she puked everywhere in her bed and I could tell she felt horrible. So off to the Dr. we went Monday morning and Dr. said it has to run its course, nothing we can do but push fluids so she doesn't get dehydrated. Oh and she lost 5 ozs in that week, poor baby. . .good thing she has plenty of reserves:) By Wednesday she was back to her ole self again but it was a long week for all of us, lots of laundry and sleepless nights.

OH! No pictures for a while, Ashlyn dropped the camera and we had to send it in for repairs, I feel lost w/out it.
Sunday my little nephew Kane got baptized. Ryan and I were asked to be godparents along with Rachel's cousin Jeremy and his wife Amanda. Matt & Rachel's church had a great service for him. Good thing they did the baptism 1st thing b/c Ashlyn doesn't sit well in church. . .hopefully this changes soon!!

Love this picture, Ashlyn is giving Asher a kis and Kane is pulling her hair!! In another year things are going to be interesting at family get togethers.

This past Saturday my cousin Luke got married! It was a gorgeous wedding and a beautiful day for a wedding. Their reception was in Lexington. . .same place we had ours, kind of cool, it was the 1st time back since our wedding over 5 yrs ago. Luke and Abby got married 6 yrs to the day we got engaged. So on the way home that evening Ryan and I had to reflect back on how much we had accomplished, hurdles we had overcome and great memories we had created in 6 short years.
We tried to get a good family photo but the kids were tired and both under the weather.
