Easter Day

Easter was also our 7 Year Anniversary-A lot has happened in those 7 years thats for sure. To think 4 yrs ago we weren't sure if we were even going to be able to have kids and look at the beautiful family we have-god has truly blessed us in so many ways. Easter Morning we headed to church with Ryan parents and then went to Towanda to celebrate with my family.

oh and some chapstick!! I think the Easter Bunny did a good job spoiling my kids this year.
Then it was outside for another Hunt!! Ashlyn had a big job of collecting all the pink eggs and all the carrots (which were Brody's).

She didn't need any help from mommy and daddy this year!!
The Easter Bunny came to our house late Sunday night!! I would say the kids had a WONDERFUL Easter.

Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was pretty busy for us-Saturday we headed up to Fairbury to spend the day with Paw Paw and Emaw Welborn. We had a little practice easter egg hunt for Ashlyn before all the kids got there. She was really into it this year!! Ashlyn LOVES flip flops-especially when they are someone elses!
She was a Paw Paw girl all weekend-they jumped on the jump, went for a bike ride to the park, swang on the swingset, and she even got to sit with him at church on Sunday.

That meant that Emaw got to spoil Brody:) Even though he didn't get to be a part of the easter egg hunts I think he had a wonderful 1st Easter.
The Hunt with all the girls-Ty was to big this year so he helped Ryan and Jason hide the eggs and then they played cops and robbers while all the girls hunted.
After the hunt it was time to get ALL the kids bathed and in their jammies that the Easter Bunny brought them.
CHECK IT OUT!! We almost got a picture with all the kids looking and smiling at the camera. I LOVE IT-Lainie was being onry and didn't want to get her picture taken.

Monkey Joes

Good Friday we really wanted to head over to Peoria Zoo but of course the weather was rainy and cold so instead we decided to try out Monkey Joes. Ashlyn was in heaven-she LOVED it. There was an area that had a couple smaller scale inflatables for kids 3 and under but Ashlyn wanted to go on the big stuff with the big kids. We thought after 2 hours of her running and jumping non stop she would be ready to go-not so much she wouldn't talk to us the entire ride home-Ryan of course said,"wonder who she gets that from!!" Yes I'm a sympathy pouter and so is Ashlyn:)

Decorating Easter Eggs

We had so much fun coloring eggs this year with the neighbor girls-Emily & Katie. Brody really wasn't sure what was going on but he sure was interested in watching the girls.

Outside Fun!!!

The weather this weekend was gorgeous and we spent A LOT of time outside!! So glad that Spring is finally here and we can be outside.
