Josh's 30th Surprise Party & A Black Eye

Friday night we headed to bloomington for a surprise birthday party for my friends husband Josh. My parents said they wanted to keep the 3 grandkids so we could go:) The Hockey game was a lot of fun except for the fact it was delayed over an hour b/c the opponents bus broke down-so we didn't stay for the entire game but it was still a great night out!!

So like I said the kids stayed at my parents house while we went to the game and Ashlyn lost a fight with the dining room table:( My parents aren't really sure what happened- her and Kane were chasing each other around and next thing you know they hear this LOUD thump and Ashlyn is SCREAMING. By the time we got back from the game all 3 kids were sound asleep but the next morning it looked like this. Today its even worse and of course the minute we walk into daycare her teachers start laughing and asking me what the heck I did to her:) Oh and don't you love her hair all rolled up in snakes! I bought these the other day to roll her hair to make it all curly and she instantly said they were snakes!! She is so funny!
