Ashlyn has picked up on me calling Ryan -"baby"-we have always called each other baby and tonight I yelled downstairs "Baby" its time to eat and next thing I know she is yelling "baby." Guess I better watch what I call him from here on out:)

Easter 2010

Well to end our wonderful easter weekend we found out Monday morning Ashlyn had Chicken Pox. Over the weekend she got a rash across her back but we thought there is no way it could be chicken pox-no one we knew had them-she was vaccinated-and if it were she would have them everywhere. Well sure enough went to the dr. Monday morning and she have a very mild case-she has done very well with them and I have only seen her itch them a few times. Hopefully by monday she will be fully healed so she can go back to the sitter and we can get back to work:)

20 Month Update

So I was looking back through my blog and noticed it has been forever since I updated Ashlyn's stats and her new accomplishments. Before she was 1 I would post a monthly update but of course now I totally have been slacking. Gosh how bad will it be when there are 2:)

Favorite Foods; I think I have said this before but Ashlyn isn't picky like her mommy and when its something she really likes she says, "YUMMMMM" after every bite-so cute! fruit-any kind, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, green beans, corn, lima beans, mashed potatoes w/sour cream, anything with chix, burgers, spaghetti, fries, pickles, M & M's, gushers, cookies, ice cream, suckers and the list goes on!!

Favorite TV Shows; For a while Ashlyn wouldn't really watch cartoons or tv but I have been putting her in our bed and turning on cartoons in the morning while I shower and she now climbs up with her milk and enjoys watching tv while I'm in the shower. Which I LOVE ALSO!! Mickey Mouse Club, Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny, Pet Star(b/c there are lots of dogs), oh and American Idol.

Favorite Activities; anything outside-going on walks, running in the yard, driving her 4-wheeler, chasing Zelma, eating rocks, throwing rocks, trying to run into the road (that is why the fence is going up this weekend), step in Zelma's poop and then say Poop:), she loves to play dress-up, daddy chasing her and playing hide-n-seek, she also likes to sit on her potty-can't say that she goes on the potty but she likes to sit and sing her potty song that I made up and sing to her. Her other activity that she enjoys but we don't is taking off her pants and diaper and streaking through-out the house-she just laughs as loud as she can.

Often heard words; Mama, Dada, dog, delma (zelma), ball, boon (balloon), B (binky), bye bye, hi, outside, bike, unt drink (want drink), peeze (please), nack (snack), baby, atie & emma (katie and emily neighbor girls), I'm sure there are more -she will repeat just about anything we ask her to.
Ashlyn has become our little helper too, she loves to help unload the dishwasher, put the clothes in the dryer, put my shoes away, put her diaper in the diaper genie, put her clothes in the laundry room, and will even pick up after herself if we ask her too. She is our little sweetpea that we love to pieces. She is such a happy little girl who loves everyone she meets and is sure to say HI!! and BYE!! to each person -so cute when your out shopping and they don't hear her or maybe ignore her she will keep saying HI over and over again until they recognize her:)

Ashlyn has a secret:)

Ashlyn had some exciting news to share over the weekend!! Thats right she is going to be a BIG SISTER:) Its been hard keeping a secret around our family for the past 5 weeks so Saturday we decided to spill the beans. Saturday we celebrated Kane's 1st birthday and we were suppose to go out for dinner with Ryan's family for his dad's birthday as well but he was really sick all weekend so we had to tell them over the phone:(

Baby #2 is due the end of October and so far things are going well-had our 1st sono about 2 weeks ago and got to see the little peanuts heartbeat. Momma has been OK-just really exhausted and nauseous all day everyday but I really shouldn't complain-hopefully that just means peanut is growing and developing normally:)

Thats right its Ashlyn's twin:) JK!! My aunt Lori found this picture the other day and sent it to me. . .I can't get over how much Ashlyn and I look alike at this age. Thank god she has Ryan's little ears:) Even our hair is the same. . .I thought she had Ryan's hair, guess not after seeing this picture.

Hello. . .Hello. . .Hello

Oh the personality this child has:) She loves to talk on the phone, she has a pink cell phone that is in the car and if I'm talking on the cell phone she will pretend she is talking on the phone too, and then whenever we say "BYE" she will yell "BYE BYE"! I sometimes have to think back to what life was like before Ashlyn. . .it must have been very very boring is all I got to say!

American Idol

Ashlyn loves to watch American Idol with us. . .she will sing, dance, and clap and really its about the only show she will sit and watch! Of course as soon as she knows I'm trying to capture a video she doesn't co-operate.

CHEESE:)

Ashlyn is starting to get better about getting her picture taken. If I tell her CHEESE-this is what she does:) Note her CRAZY hair-Ryan says she looks like Ace Ventura when she gets up in the mornings.
