Oh where do I begin-this picture was taken last weekend when Ashlyn decided she had to go poopie so instead of heading to the bathroom she decided to go get her potty and put it right in front of the door and share her experience with the neighbors. The important part was she went and mommy and daddy couldn't have been more proud-we had decided we weren't going to push her, when she was ready she would let us know. Fast forward to this weekend-yesterday morning after she got up and had breakfast she said she had to go poopie so I said lets go sit on the potty but she insisted on bringing her potty to the living room-well whatever if thats what you want to do go for it. So she grabbed her potty sat for a few minutes and sure enough she went. She was SOOOO excited. She must have said, "Mommy I go Poopie" a thousand times!! I decided to put her in big girl panties until it was time to go run errands and asked her every 15 minutes if she had to go potty and sometimes she would say YES and go sit and do nothing but she never had an accident. Today was a great day of potty training-we were home all day so that helped. She is all about going poopie on the potty but only went pee once-leave it to my child to be backwards:) I'm just loving the fact that she is SUPER EXCITED about it and we couldn't be more proud of her!!
